Davis Acoustics Courbet N°4  is a revolutionary small speaker column, complementing the Courbet series. With its many advantages, it will satisfy the most demanding lovers of good sound. Ideal for small living rooms.

When developing it, we used all our knowledge and experience, which allowed us to obtain the sound of a large speaker from such a small structure.

With over 30 years of loudspeaker experience, Davis Acoustics has once again created a custom driver that adapts to the unusual volume of the enclosure.  The Courbet N°4 , positioned halfway between a bookshelf speaker and a traditionally sized speaker, features a mid-bass driver capable of unexpected efficiency. Once again, Kevlar has been chosen for its ideal mass-to-stiffness ratio. The tweeter perfectly complements this new driver, creating a perfect duo with it.

Our engineering work has enabled us to achieve a very linear characteristic, which means that during listening the speaker completely disappears in favor of the music. You will be seduced by the subtlety of the sound transmission. No frequency is "highlighted". This neutrality allows you to hear all the details of the recording without fatigue.

Courbet N°4  can be paired with all types of electronics. The right combination of your stereo system will determine the character you want to give to the final effect (soft, warm, or dynamic...). Let your dealer advise you.

The lowest resistance value is 4 ohms, so if your amplifier allows it, we recommend using the 4 ohm output.

We also recommend using the seller's experience when choosing a speaker cable. The speakers should be positioned symmetrically to the listening area. A distance of at least 30 cm from the walls (back and sides) is recommended. A set of spikes allows you to separate the speaker from the ground and achieve a more dynamic bass.
